| Carrie is a licensed professional school counselor based in Columbus, Ohio. They have experience in large, diverse, urban & suburban school districts. They work closely with LGBTQ+ students, and are committed to social justice work in education. #BLM. They have completed specialist certifications in the areas of college access, bullying, anxiety management, and trauma-informed school counseling. Carrie is co-host of 2 School Counselors, a podcast featuring real talk about the current state of education, happenings in the field of school counseling, and the issues our students deal with daily. Carrie is available as a guest and speaker. They have presented on topics including supporting transgender students in school environments, supporting transgender student athletes, and advising individuals with developmental disabilities about creating their own podcasts.
